Mr. Ryan has over twenty-five years of experience representing business owners, officers, and shareholders of privately held companies. He founded Worldwide Capital & Mergers in 1991.
Mr. Ryan has had experience in various industries with extensive experience in all types of transactions including: selling companies, acquisition searches, management buyouts, product licensing, business and product valuations, distressed companies, and sourcing venture capital funding. Prior to forming Worldwide Capital & Mergers, LLC, Mr. Ryan held a senior position in corporate venture capital at a Fortune 100 company. He began his career at a Big Four CPA firm in the entrepreneurial services division. Mr. Ryan is a Certified Public Accountant. He has an MBA and a BS degree from St. Louis University.
Mr. Alexander has 30 years of experience in starting, growing and selling the three companies that he founded. These included an equipment leasing company that provided leasing services to trucking and computer companies. After selling, he started up a company that provided Master Card and Visa computer processing services. The company processed transactions for local banks, government social programs, and fuel transactions for trucking companies. After growing this business, he sold the majority of the company to a private equity fund. Mr. Alexander has a bachelor's degree from the University of North Alabama.
Mr. Anderson has over 25 years of business experience in domestic and international business. He has directed and assisted in mergers, acquisitions, raising capital, exit strategies as well as buys/sells. Newell has extensive corporate experience, as well as Wall Street experience in developing comprehensive wealth strategies for families and companies. Most recently, he was Senior Managing Director of Northeast/Mid-Atlantic operations for Seidman Private Advisors LLC / BDO Seidman LLP, an international accounting and advisory firm where he worked with clients as a wealth strategist and financial advisor of high net worth and ultra high net worth families in devising solutions to their problems. Also, Newell worked with some top names in the wealth management and financial services industry, where he was a Vice President at Mellon Private Wealth Management and SunTrust Private Wealth Management. He has extensive wealth management, corporate and banking experience in developing solutions to problems.
Prior to going to Wall Street, Newell was an automotive executive with Chrysler Corporation in both the domestic and international divisions for almost two decades. He is a graduate of Rollins College, in Winter Park Florida, with a B.S in Business.
Mr. Chen has over twenty years of experience in investment banking, venture capital, and as a business owner in China. He served for China Southern Securities Co., America Bush Venture Fund, and China Glory Holding Company leading numerous venture capital deals in various industries. He also owned and managed a technology company in China. Mr. Chen also has extensive experience in working with both the government sector and the private sector to facilitate deals and source capital in China and other countries. He is fluent in English and Chinese. Mr. Chen holds an MBA from Stockholm University.
Mr. George Cleary has extensive experience in operations, mergers, business development, and preparation of feasibility studies to support new business opportunities. Mr. Cleary has experience in both major corporations such as Walt Disney World Company and privately held companies including an information technology company. He is the past executive director and a current board member of the Central Florida International Chamber of Commerce. He also holds a State of Florida Real Estate License and a State of Florida Athlete Agent Certification. Mr. Cleary earned his Bachelor in Business Administration and Masters in Economics from State University of New York at Buffalo. He also has a second Masters degree in Business Administration from the University of Central Florida.
Dr. Droutman has led hundreds of deals in the U.S. and internationally in various industries including extensive experience in healthcare. His experience includes over thirty years in corporate mergers and acquisitions where he worked in over 23 foreign countries. In addition to English he is multilingual in French and Portuguese. Dr. Droutman recently taught graduate level corporate finance. He has a B.A. from Princeton, an M.A. from Johns Hopkins University and a Ph. D. from Columbia University.
Mr. Paul Harrington is an experienced private equity and mezzanine investor. In his role as the Director of the HSBC Capital (USA) Inc. private equity fund he originated and structured investments and acquisitions for the fund. He also performed due diligence, financial analysis and modeling and negotiated legal documentation. Mr. Harrington served on and participated on nine Boards of Directors of portfolio companies. He executed and managed investments in eight different funds including SBIC funds. His experience also includes Bear, Stearns & Co. and Chemical Bank. He is a certified financial analyst. Mr. Harrington obtained his Bachelors degree from Princeton University.
Mr. Hu has over twenty-five years of experience in various roles in the U.S. and China including sales, marketing, market entry, operations, and mergers. He has worked in the Chinese office of U.S. corporations including Brooks Automation, Amphenol Corporation, Ingersoll-Rand Corporation, and United Technologies. He was also responsible for the startup of Helix China operations which included the integration of Brooks Automation (U.S.) after the acquisition of Helix. Mr. Chen holds a Bachelors degree in Termo Dynamic Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University and an MBA from Shanghai University of Finance and Economics.
Mr. Jewett has over twenty-five years of experience with international telecommunications and technology companies. He has lived and worked in the United States, Canada, the Caribbean, and the Pacific Rim. He has experience as an entrepreneur and with major companies including IDT Telecom. He has held positions in marketing, operations, and business development utilizing his skills in the international telecommunications and technology industry. Mr. Jewett has a Bachelors degree from the University of New Brunswick.
Mr. Kihara has 20 years of experience including investment banking, corporate mergers and acquisitions, and entrepreneurship. He has completed major multinational deals, and has raised capital for private companies including a company in the vocational education industry which he started. His experience includes corporate mergers and acquisitions at United Technologies Corporation. Mr. Kihara also worked as an investment banker at Goldman, Sachs & Company. As a senior executive and change agent, he was instrumental in the successful turnaround of the US based equipment finance subsidiary of Deutsche Bank, AG. At GE Capital he structured a synthetic lease transaction for a Japanese auto manufacturer freeing up investment capital. He has authored magazine articles, procedure manuals and paneled at industry conferences. Mr. Kreissl has an MBA from the University of Detroit. He has also attended Columbia University and DBAG (Frankfurt, Germany).
Mr. Roberts resides in France and has over twenty years of experience in cross border transactions and transacting business with both global financial firms and as a business owner. He has extensive global financial market experience including Union Bank of Switzerland and Dean Witter Reynolds, Inc. In addition, he was a reporter, producer and marketer of CEO interviews for the Wall Street Reporter Magazine and as an entrepreneur. Mr. Roberts also led the sales and marketing of an online web-based retailer. He is bilingual in English and French. Mr. Roberts has a Bachelors degree in International Relations from Harvard University.
Mr. Ross began his career as a solicitor in private legal practice in Europe before becoming involved in commercial ventures and consultancy. Mr. Ross has over 25 years of corporate experience in business operations, and systems with the principal objective of facilitating business growth and in sourcing expansion capital. Most recently his experience has been in the renewable energy technology sector. He has extensive knowledge of the UK market as well as Eastern Europe and Africa. In Africa, he has developed excellent contacts at the senior Governmental and Ambassadorial level. In addition to English, he has a medium fluency in Spanish and French. Mr. Ross has a bachelor's degree in Science and Diploma in Legal Practice from Kings College, University of Aberdeen, UK.
Mr. Ruiz has over twenty years of experience in mergers and acquisitions and sales and marketing positions. He has worked in both the telecommunications and transportation industries at large companies including MCI Communications and privately held moving & storage and container companies. He is active in the Arizona Association for Economic Development and the Greater Phoenix Economic Council. Mr. Ruiz has a B.S. degree from Indiana University.
Mr. Ron Tolliver has diverse business experience developed with Fortune 100 companies and early-stage technology ventures. His experience with early-stage companies includes telecommunications, internet/SAAS, and aerospace technology. Each venture required extensive application of leadership, strategic thinking, execution skills, and raising capital. Ventures in telecommunications and the Internet completed successful IPOs and were subsequently acquired. One was acquired for $6 billion. Mr. Tolliver is also involved with the technology community at Emory University and Georgia Tech where he assesses commercialization opportunities for new technology opportunities. Previously Mr. Tolliver held senior management positions at United Telephone System, the predecessor of Sprint, and served in the United States Air Force. He obtained a Bachelors degree from Florida Southern College and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of South Florida.
Mr. Tolson has over twenty-five years of experience in investment banking, corporate mergers and acquisitions, and in government positions in China. He has experience in a variety of industries including sourcing $22 million for an electronic components company and over $800 million in real estate and industrial contracts. With knowledge of both the U.S. and Chinese markets he has been able to successfully set up joint ventures and facilitate international mergers. He is fluent in English and Chinese. Mr. Gregory Wilkinson is a proven financial executive and attorney. His experience includes his role as a Vice President of Finance and Legal with Telephone and Data Systems, the parent company of U.S. Cellular and TDS Telecom. He was part of the executive team that grew the company from $6.5 million to $2.6 billion through internal growth as well as through a series of startups and acquisitions. In addition, Mr. Wilkinson has assisted a number of early stage companies in raising capital and works as a contract Chief Financial Officer, attorney and business advisor. He is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin. Mr. Wilkinson obtained his Bachelors degree and Master in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin. He also obtained a J.D. from the University of Wisconsin.
Mr. David Wisher in a seasoned executive with extensive international experience in the telecommunications and software industries. Mr. Wisher resided in Moscow, Russia in his role as the Chief Financial Officer of Golden Telecom, Inc. He also resided in London as the Chief Financial Officer of Wavecrest Communication. Mr. Wisher has served as CFO of kCurea Corporation and currently contracts as the CFO for numerous privately held companies. He has extensive experience in international corporate finance, acquisitions, divestitures, restructurings, reorganizations, systems implementation, and general accounting. Mr. Wisher began his career as a big four certified public accountant at Price Waterhouse. He is a certified public accountant and obtained his Bachelors degree from the University of Illinois in Urbana - Champaign.
